NOAA Weather Radio, KIG86 Columbas broadcasts local or regional weather forecasts, synopsis, climate summaries, and synopsis or zone/lake/coastal waters forecasts for 24-hour through the network of VHF FM weather radio stations. It (NWR) provides the most accurate weather news directly from a nearby National Weather Service office in United States. Sometimes it also arrange other programs like: national security statements, natural disaster information, environmental and public safety statements etc.
